Rejecting the "AI Flavor": Essential Skills to Make Claude Code Write Like a Human

We have all experienced this moment: You ask AI to write some copy, and it spits out text full of "tapestry", "delve", or "testament to". These words are flowery but empty, and you can tell at a glance that they are machine-generated—this is the so-called "AI flavor".

Today, I want to recommend two essential Claude Code Skills that can completely change this situation: Humanizer (English version) and Humanizer-zh (Chinese version).

Why Do You Need This Skill?

Most AI writing tools are just doing "addition", piling up words; while Humanizer does "subtraction". Based on the "AI Writing Features Guide" summarized by the Wikipedia community, it can accurately identify and fix 24 common AI writing patterns.

This is not simple synonym replacement, but a reshaping of writing logic.

Core Feature Highlights

1. Precision Strike on 24 AI Patterns

Humanizer is not just about polishing; it acts like a strict editor, checking if your article has the following issues:

  • Meaningless sublimation: For example, constantly saying "marks a pivotal moment for...".
  • Superficial -ing analysis: Overusing structures like "symbolizing... reflecting...".
  • Over-promotional tone: Writing ordinary descriptions like ad copy.
  • False range: For example, "from A to B", when A and B actually don't have a strong logical connection.

2. Specialized Chinese Support (Humanizer-zh)

For Chinese users, directly translated Prompts often yield poor results. op7418/Humanizer-zh is specifically optimized for the Chinese context and can identify:

  • Translationese: Stiff passive voice and long, convoluted sentences.
  • Nonsense literature: "Waffle" that seems to say something but actually says nothing.
  • Excessive honorifics: Unnatural "servile" tone.

3. Seamless Integration with Claude Code

After installation, you only need to type /humanizer or /humanizer-zh in the dialog box, and it will automatically analyze and rewrite your text.

Practical Comparison

Before (AI Generated):

"This new project serves as a testament to our team's commitment to innovation. Furthermore, it demonstrates our key role in the constantly evolving technological landscape, laying a solid foundation for future development."

After (Humanizer-zh Optimized):

"This project is the result of our team's innovation over the past three years. It not only adapts to current technological changes but also gives us confidence in our future direction."

Where is the difference? It removed empty big words like "testament to commitment", "constantly evolving technological landscape", and replaced them with concrete, natural expressions like "three years", "confidence".

How to Get It?

Both projects are open source and can be integrated directly into your Claude Code environment:

Conclusion

AI is a powerful tool, but it shouldn't replace your voice. The Humanizer skill is like a filter, straining out the coldness of the machine and leaving behind human sincerity and warmth. If you are a content creator, developer, or copywriter, this is definitely an indispensable artifact in your toolbox.
