  • [ ] Considered deployment environment?
  • [ ] Planned index strategy?
  • [ ] Defined relationship types?

Anti-Patterns

โŒ Default to PostgreSQL for simple apps (SQLite may suffice)
โŒ Skip indexing
โŒ Use SELECT * in production
โŒ Store JSON when structured data is better
โŒ Ignore N+1 queries
